This thermos keeps my soup warm for the whole day

I purchased this one along with a smaller version in preparation for surgery I had in May. The doctor advised bringing food just in case we’d need to stay the entire day, which turned out to be great advice. The surgery took longer than expected, and the recovery time was extended as well. Thankfully, my husband had both containers with him, which made a big difference. I ended up staying overnight due to complications, but my husband didn’t need to leave, as we had everything we needed (the hospital cafeteria was closed for renovations). One container held soup, and the other a heavier meal (roast with vegetables), and both stayed warm throughout the day. The spoon integrated into the lid was a lifesaver since we forgot to bring utensils. These containers have become a part of our everyday routine now—they’re incredibly convenient, easy to clean, and even come with spare gaskets for replacements when needed.

I bring soup to work, and even after 4 hours, it’s still warm when I’m ready to eat. The included spoon is great, but I find it a bit challenging to use because the opening is somewhat small, requiring me to tilt the thermos to get the food out. On the plus side, it doesn’t leak at all, and the color is gorgeous!

Overall, the quality seems solid. However, I noticed two things right away. First, I ordered the "red" version, but the color is more like brown. After double-checking, I saw that the 24 oz size only comes in grey and "red," which definitely leans towards brown. Second, while the lid can function as a bowl, it’s a bit awkward to use that way. The plastic is a bit slippery, and without a handle, it’s tricky to grip. I’m not sure if the silicone strap really helps with holding it either—it would’ve been much more practical if there was some sort of handle or loop for better control.
