HOW TO PROLONG THE SERVICE LIFE OF ENERGIFY INSULATED JAR?
FAQ
QUESTIONS ABOUT JARS
-
We have jars in three sizes: 12 oz (355 ml), 17 oz (503 ml) and 24 oz (710 ml).
-
Your vacuum flask keeps food hot or cold thanks to insulation. Certain actions may compromise insulation:
- Washing in the dishwasher on the low-rack (Energify jars are TOP-rack dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand-washing for a lasting beautiful finish. Choose the cycle with the lowest water temperature, and never use the heat dry feature. DO NOT wash the stopper in the dishwasher, do not soak it).
- Putting the jar into the microwave or freezer.
- Dropping and damaging your jar.
Additionally, avoid leaving food or drinks inside the jar for extended periods (more than 24 hours). Wash all parts of the flask promptly after finishing your meal to prevent odor formation. Avoid washing the flask with harsh chemicals like chlorine and bleach, as they can harm the stainless steel. Do not use abrasive cleaners and scrubbers.
After washing, do not close the stopper or lid if the jar is not completely dry inside.
-
Energify vacuum flask is designed with two layers of high-quality stainless steel that are fused together, with a vacuum created in between.
This prevents heat (or coldness) from escaping or entering, so your food or drink stays at the temperature you want it to be for long hours.
It works only if the stopper and the lid are tightly closed.
-
Energify vacuum insulated food jar keeps your meals warm for up to 12 hours and cold for up to 24 hours.
-
No, it keeps cold things cold and hot things hot for several hours in the same way.
It doesn't contain any kind of cooling or heating device.
-
For optimal thermal performance, follow these steps:
- Pre-heat or pre-chill the vacuum flask by filling it with hot or cold water, attaching the lid, and allowing it to rest for a few minutes. Empty the water before packing your food.
- Place piping hot or ice-cold food inside for optimal temperature retention.
- Avoid leaving the flask open for an extended period; always tightly close the stopper and lid.
- A well-filled flask retains temperature better, but avoid overfilling (stay below the flask neck limit).
- Ensure all gaskets are correctly placed for effective sealing.
- Be cautious not to drop your jar, as damage could compromise its insulation, leading to reduced efficiency.
-
Soup, stew, scrambled eggs, meatballs, dumplings, pasta, oatmeal, roasted veggies, yogurt, and anything else you like!
You can also use it to store drinks like hot chocolate, coffee, tea, smoothies, and more.
-
Yes, it is! Energify food jars are made of food-grade materials, including stainless steel, BPA-free plastic, and silicone, making them completely safe for everyone.
If your kids are using the jars without your supervision, please teach them to be very careful as the food inside may be hot and could cause burns.
Always check the temperature of the contents before eating.
-
Before the first use and as soon as possible after each use, wash all parts (both silicone rings too) with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow them to dry. Avoid attaching the lid before it's completely dry.
Refrain from washing the flask with harsh chemicals like chlorine and bleach, as they can harm the stainless steel. Do not use abrasive cleaners and scrubbers to clean the product.
All Energify insulated jars are top-rack dishwasher safe. Choose the cycle that uses the lowest water temperature, and never use the heat dry option. However, we recommend to hand wash the jar to maintain its attractive finish.
Do not put the stopper in the dishwasher; wash it by hand. After each use remove the silicone rings, wash them by hand, then clean the surface of the stopper (without immersing it in water), let everything dry completely, and then put the silicone rings back on.

No, do not heat your jar in microwave, on stove top, or any type of oven. It will likely damage the insulation and harm the stainless steel.
Also avoid places near open flame, heaters and other heat sources.
For maximum thermal efficiency, pre-heat vacuum flask prior to use. This can be done by filling it with hot water, attaching the lid and letting it rest for a few minutes. Discard water before packing your food.
-
You can safely place it in a fridge with no risk of damage because fridge temperatures are not low enough to freeze the contents, thus avoiding potential harm to the vacuum seal or the Energify jar itself. However, never leave your flask in the freezer for an extended period, as the freezing effect can cause liquids to expand. In a contained environment like the Energify jar, the pressure from expanding fluids in a closed container could rupture the vacuum seal and lead to insulation failure or even cracking of your jar.
For maximum thermal efficiency, pre-chill the vacuum flask before use. Fill it with cold water and ice, attach the lid, and let it rest for a few minutes. Discard the water and ice before packing your food.
-
If you feel your jar isn't performing at its best, you can test the insulation with the following steps:
- Pour boiling water from a kettle or pot directly into the stationary jar, filling it all the way to the neck. Do not place the stopper or the cap over the flask.
- After about 5 minutes, feel the outside of the flask (below the neck). If you sense any hot spots, the insulation may be compromised.
If there are no hot spots, ensure that:
- You close the stopper and the lid tightly. Without proper sealing, the jar won't provide insulation.
- You put piping hot or ice-cold food inside the jar.
- The silicone rings are not missing and are in the right place.
If the issue persists, try replacing the silicone rings (you received two spare rings in your package—one big and one small).
